On June 30th, 2011, the “Region 8 TDA Planning Meeting” took place on the Lonesome Dove Ranch, outside of Mathis Texas. They had a skeet shooting event and a great venison steak and bacon wrapped Nilgai antelope lunch. I took this opportunity to join the TDA myself.
The TDA is a statewide non-profit organization that is loaded with outdoor enthusiasts. Fishing, hunting and any other outdoor activity is what this group is all about.
They make a real difference in managing the quality of our deer herds in Texas.
